Eastern Montana Bible Camp’s SquareSpace website had grown cluttered and difficult for families to navigate, and their 75th anniversary shirts and graphics lacked a unified brand thread. EMBC needed an authentic, people-first digital overhaul that honored decades of summer ministry while making registration, giving, and community engagement straightforward.

Outgrowing the Old Site & Brand

EMBC’s site had become a maze—disconnected pages, outdated visuals, and a broken user experience that frustrated both staff and families. We rebuilt the entire thing inside their existing Squarespace account, restructured the site map, applied a cleaner design system, and updated the layout for mobile and accessibility. As part of their 75th “campiversary,” we also designed that year’s shirt—something they do every year—but used it as a chance to introduce a logo-quality mark they could actually use across print and digital channels. No one had to change how they worked, but now the site and visuals actually matched the experience of camp.

Real Improvements, Not More Complexity

Keeping What Worked, Reworking What Didn’t

We didn’t replace working systems just for the sake of it. Their Google Forms stayed intact, but we clarified access points, rewrote context, and integrated forms naturally into the redesigned layout. We provided backend training, so their staff could make updates themselves, and removed the extra steps and visual clutter that had built up over the years. The site got faster, simpler, and easier to navigate—without needing outside tech support or a monthly maintenance plan.

Small Structural Fixes That Let the Right People Find Them

Their original site barely showed up in local searches, and the Google Business Profile hadn’t been touched in years. We fixed both—revising the metadata, updating page titles, embedding regional keywords, and aligning their Google profile with seasonal details and calls to action. Within weeks, EMBC started showing up more often in relevant search results, leading to more form submissions, increased visibility, and a clearer path for parents and donors to engage. Nothing flashy—just the right fixes in the right places.

Honoring History Without Getting Stuck in It

Every year, EMBC designs a shirt for campers—but none of those shirts ever tied back to a consistent identity. For their 75th, we created a design that felt rooted in their history while still being clean, modern, and flexible enough to work as a real logo. The final files were delivered in multiple formats for shirts, signs, and digital use. It wasn’t just about a new look—it gave them the first repeatable visual asset they’d ever had, built from something they were already proud of.
